Over the last few months my blogging schedule has been sporadic and, at times, non-existent. This, of course, has reduced the name of my little space on the internet - which, I had hoped, would stand as a well-deserved title - to a sarcastic dig, at best. Or, some may say, a downright lie. False advertising, even.
It's not that blogging had completely slipped my mind. In fact, quite the contrary. I wake up everyday hoping to blog and discuss it with my friend Hannah almost constantly but, out of reluctance to post with a quantity over quality mindset, I've held off.
I want my blog to hold a purpose; I don't want to churn out outfit after outfit, accompanied by thrown-together paragraphs of little substance. Therefore, I've been attempting to educate myself by means beyond the good old interwebz. I've been reading books and magazines on a range of subjects relating to fashion, lifestyle and being female (who knew there was so much to learn), with the intention of being able to comfortably post about all of the above on a regular basis for the foreseeable future.
I've devised somewhat of a plan that should see me through the next few weeks, blog-wise, and I'm hoping to ease myself into a routine before I start back at university. My new feature, “Clickworthy”, is here to stay and there's some things that I'm sure I'll be voicing my opinion on, so here lies my platform.
Until next week.
